Meet Dr. Heine - Southaven Physical Therapist

Dr. Staci Heine earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Her passion for physical therapy was ignited during her time as a collegiate soccer player at Christian Brothers University, where she experienced firsthand the power of rehabilitation after undergoing multiple knee surgeries over three years. This personal experience gave her a deep understanding of the value of physical therapy and fueled her decision to pursue a career in the field.

With extensive experience treating patients of all ages and abilities—from middle school athletes to active aging seniors—Dr. Heine has worked in diverse settings including outpatient clinics, hospital acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation. What sets her apart is her commitment to spending meaningful time with each patient, uncovering the true root of their condition. Her comprehensive treatment plans go beyond just addressing the injury, focusing on the patient as a whole to restore mobility, fitness, function, and confidence.

Dr. Heine founded Move Better Physical Therapy to bring together her passion for fitness, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. By integrating fitness principles into her physical therapy approach, she aims to provide the highest standard of care. Her goal is to help patients not only return to their previous level of function but to exceed it, empowering them to live healthier, more active lives. For Dr. Heine, there is no greater reward than guiding her patients through their recovery journey and helping them feel better, move better, and live better.
